I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Public Health. While I was in college, I helped to tutor others in a number of subjects, including chemistry, biology, and calculus. During that time, I also helped to mentor others at a middle school that had disadvantaged children. After I graduated from Cal, I moved to Seattle. I currently work with a global health research institute, and also teach nutrition to adults who live on a low-income budget.I am able to tutor a wide variety of topics, but my strongest subjects are pre-calculus, statistics, and biology. I am also able to help others with their SAT preparation, and tutor elementary math, algebra, geometry, and pre-algebra. My main goal as a tutor is to help students to achieve success. In my opinion, there is nothing more fulfilling than receiving a good education. It is my belief that working with others as a tutor is a win-win for both student and teacher, as both are learning from one another.When I'm not working or tutoring, I enjoy watching football, cooking, reading, photography, and hiking.
