My major motivation for tutoring comes from my true understanding of the necessities of college. As a dual-major engineer, I sometimes see fellow classmates struggling in basic math such as calculus and algebra; subjects that should be thoroughly understood before college begins. Many intelligent students fail college classes due to this incomplete understanding of math and I feel that this is easily preventable.
